Supporting the District of Columbia Department of Transportation, UM handles media relations and public third-party coordination for the rehabilitation of the iconic Key Bridge connecting Georgetown in Washington, D.C. and Rosslyn, Virginia. Ensuring the 60,000 daily motorists and many thousands of daily cyclists, pedestrians and boaters are aware of the construction in advance of impacts is the focus of UM’s efforts.

UM has spearheaded the creation of Powerpoint decks, fact sheets, brochures and other materials. We’ve successfully pitched the news media on the project, placing stories on NBC-4 and in the Washington Post. Our efforts have contributed to keeping construction impacts to a minimum, with only minor delays and inconveniences.
